Synopsis[]
George and Harold convince Mr. Krupp to send Jerome Horwitz Elementary School on a space school trip to outbest his "rival", Moxie Swaggerman. When Dr. Shifty Fitzgibbons lies to everyone about his experimental project, F.L.U.S.H.E.R., George, Harold, and Captain Underpants go investigate. However, Captain Underpants accidentally turns his lie into a truth when he accidentally flushes Fitzgibbons' space chemicals into F.L.U.S.H.E.R.

- After the space toilet exploded, George and Harold started crying thinking they lost Captain Underpants. However, Captain Underpants comes out with a few scratches. George is so happy to see Captain Underpants is okay, that he tears up. This implies George and Harold might have a soft spot for Captain Underpants.
- This is the first Captain Underpants episode to take place in outer space.
- George says "Space is the place!" in one scene. This is a reference to the Sun Ra song, album, and movie.
- Captain Underpants gets slammed on the toilet and a bit of water splashes, then he has tears dropping down from his eyes while getting sucked away by the toilet exploding. Somehow, he doesn't at all turn back into Mr. Krupp from the splashed water or his own tears, possibly because they weren't powerful enough to transform him into Mr. Krupp again.
- This is the first episode where Other Sophie and Gooch Yamaguchi have their eyes seen behind their glasses.
- This is Dr. Shifty Fitzgibbons, Jet Wingman, Haley Comet, Warply, Dupe Licitous, Moxie Swaggerman, and F.L.U.S.H.E.R.'s debut.
- Harold stating that Dr. Shifty Fitzgibbons sounds like a made-up name hints at Fitzgibbons' true identity in "The Aggravated Assault of the Alien Armada".
- In the same scene, Harold also mentions Helen Copter and Cash Networth as having names that sound made-up.
