Mendoza is a character featured in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. He was part of the team that betrayed Nomad and later was killed by Juneau after being tracked down by his former ally in the Amazon jungle.
Biography[]
Mendoza served in the Rapid Deployment Force, eventually achieving the rank of commander. He was later assigned to a unit alongside Tavo "Nomad" Rojas, and the two participated in several missions together. However, during one mission, Mendoza betrayed Nomad, attempting to kill him. Nomad managed to escape.
Sometime before 2043, Mendoza and his assistant ventured into the Amazon jungle in search of Nomad and his dog, Juneau. During the pursuit, Mendoza spotted Juneau but missed his shot, watching the dog disappear into the dense jungle. His assistant gave chase, only to trigger a trip mine, killing him instantly. Mendoza, shocked, turned to find Nomad and Juneau emerging behind him. After a brief confrontation, Nomad unleashed Juneau, who attacked and killed Mendoza.
