The Anti-Air Laser System, or Anti-Air Directed Energy Weapon, is an Orbital Care Package reward exclusive to the map Defender. When activated, a large turret will appear in the center of the map, and will destroy any enemy air-based streaks in its line of sights. The floor in the room under the turret will also open up with a yellow glow, killing players that step in it.
Enemy players may turn off the turret. On the opposite side of the map from where the water is, there is a machine console. When the Air-Defense is online, a red button will say "Hold [action button]". Pressing and holding this button will pull up a bar saying "Hacking..." And once full, the turret will shut off.
