The Green Apricorn (Japanese: みどぼんぐりGreen Bonguri), formatted Grn Apricorn prior to Generation VI, is a type of Apricorn introduced in Generation II. It can be used to make a Friend Ball.
Green Apricorns appeared in Going Apricorn!, where Kurt sent Ash, Misty, and Brock to harvest some Apricorns. However, they were attacked by a group of Beedrill before they could pick any Apricorns from the tree.
Trivia
In Generation IV, Green Apricorns are by far the most common, appearing in eight places.
In Japanese, the Green Apricorn is the only Apricorn for which the color in its name is abbreviated, using the abbreviated form みど mido rather than みどり midori.
