Just finished watching the episode, Eddy Lee (Gladion) and Lori Phillips (Umbreon) really shined this episode

Jeremy Levy is brilliant as Mohn which makes he wish they'd find him for some great family scenes

can't wait for this great episode in full length! And Lillie looks so tough and pretty :)

I don't review episodes as often as I'd like to, but I had to for this one because it's a pretty great example of everything I love about SM as a series.

Seriously, there was peak Kiawe/Ash/Lana personality, the characters' unique relationships, the Aether crew, some really great Gladion scenes, interesting flashbacks, Z-Moves...a really great balance of humor, action, and emotion. I was almost shocked when the episode ended because I felt like I had only been watching it for 10 minutes!

Great episode, super enjoyable.

This episode is the perfect example of SM's strange juxtaposition...

You have great and greatly animated moments for Lillie and Gladion...and then you have everyone else being over-the-top silly and BURYING us under meme faces... o_O

That's not really juxtaposition. That's just simple contrast. The former gains more weight by being contrasted with the latter, and vice-versa.
