Scruffty's Bathtime

Scruffty's Bathtime is a Bob the Builder short. In this short, Scruffty is very dirty, and Farmer Pickles and Spud are trying their best to wash him.

Plot[]

Scruffty was digging a hole getting covered in mud. Farmer Pickles then finds and asks him if he was looking for his bone. Scruffty said yes. Farmer Pickles notices that he is covered in mud that he insists giving him a bath. An upset Scruffty refuses because he wants to keep digging. Farmer Pickles promises him that the bath is not cold and he'll be fine. But this only makes Scruffty run away. Farmer Pickles quickly goes after him.

Scruffty now is at Farmer Pickles' farm, then he hides at the barn shed so that Farmer Pickles doesn't see him. When Farmer Pickles arrives at his farm, he calls out Scruffty to come. The dirty dog overhears him and quickly gets out of the shed. Spud then comes in and notices Scruffty running around. Farmer Pickles tells Spud to catch Scruffty. And Spud successfully does so.

Now, they get Scruffty on a dog tub. With a bucket of bath water, Farmer Pickles asks Spud to hold on to the dog while he washes him. They start to wash Scruffty beginning with the head, but Farmer Pickles accidentally splashed Spud's head too. Then, he continues washing the rest of the body, otherwise the mud will get over Scruffty's fur and he'll be itching for weeks. Now, he uses the bucket to drop all the water to the dog's whole body. A clean Scruffty gets out of the tub and shakes his fur off the water to Spud. The short ends with a totally wet Spud saying "Ugh! It's wet."
