Supersonic RC is an online Racers game. The player drives an RC car and must reach checkpoints set in a 3D LEGO Store world. The player also earns points by performing tricks with the car. Different game modes can be unlocked.

Gameplay[]

The first level, Free Driving, familiarizes you with the vehicle, the environment, and the location of the checkpoints. The goal is to complete two laps of the circuit within the time limit. An on-screen arrow points in the direction of the next checkpoint to assist you. The second level, Checkpoint Chase, gives you just 10 seconds to reach each checkpoint. This should not be too difficult after completing the first level.

Subsequent levels require you to perform aerial stunts for points. Get your racer off the ground in any way possible. The more flips and turns you do in the air, the more points you earn. A scavenger hunt element is also added, where finding higher ground is necessary to accumulate enough points to progress.

  • Free Driving: Race through all checkpoints. Complete two laps in under 2:30.
  • Checkpoint Chase: Complete two laps. Reach each checkpoint in under 10 seconds.
  • Stunt Rally: Perform stunts to gain points. Reach 2,500 points in 2:00.
  • Scavenger Hunt: Find as many hidden prizes as possible to add points. Gain 3,000 points.
  • Supersonic Challenge: Race through checkpoints, perform stunts, and find prizes. Score 15,000 points to win the Challenge!

Car[]

There is only one playable car in the game. The car is based on the Supersonic RC LEGO set.

Where to play[]

The game was originally available on LEGO.com Wayback Machine. It was also hosted on many flash game websites.

Since the discontinuation of the Shockwave Player in 2020, the game has been impossible to play using newer versions of browsers.

Thanks to BlueMaxima's Flashpoint, a web game preservation project, the game has remained playable since the discontinuation of the Shockwave Player (last verified in August 2024). Flashpoint is a standalone application that preserves and emulates old web games and animations, allowing users to play them offline even after their original platforms are no longer supported.
