The M-Tron Powerlifter is a 71046 Minifigures Series 26 minifigure introduced in 2024.

Description[]

The M-Tron Powerlifter wears an updated M:Tron uniform with a bright red torso, white arms, black gloves and hip, and dual-molded white and bright red legs. His torso is printed with the M:Tron logo, and his legs feature additional printing on the front and sides. He is equipped with a powerlifter backpack consisting of six elements, including a printed black 1x2 plate with hazard lines, a medium stone grey 1x1 round tile with a meter, and a flexible black tube with a bright red claw. He has a black helmet, with a green visor and white HUD printed on one side of his dual-sided face.

Background[]

The M-Tron Powerlifter is an M-Tron Astronaut equipped with an exoskeleton for lifting heavy objects and machinery.

Appearances[]

Behind the Scenes[]

According to an interview with creative lead Esa Petteri Nousiainen and graphics designer Tore Magelund Harmark-Alexandersen, the M-Tron Powerlifter was combined from two ideas for Series 26 minifigures: an updated M-Tron Astronaut and an archetypal exoskeleton. As with the Blacktron Mutant, combining these concepts allowed the designers to "break" the silhouette of the M-Tron Astronaut and make this update more unique. The printed visor was a workaround for the retired transparent fluorescent green of the original minifigure.[1]
