Lily is the youngest child and only daughter of Harry Potter and Ginny Weasley, and the younger sister of James Sirius Potter and Albus Severus Potter. She was named for Lily Potter, her paternal grandmother, and Luna Lovegood, her parents' mutual friend. As the youngest of the Potter children, Lily was the last to begin attending Hogwarts, but accompanied her parents to see her brothers off on the Hogwarts Express.
