Bat Witch,[1] also known as the Evil Witch,[2][Note 1] is a minifigure which appears in the Castle (2007) theme.
Description[]
Bat Witch wears a plain black witch's hat and a black dress with tattered green robes. She wears a chain necklace with brooches modeled after skulls and a spider, and she has potions strapped to her belt.
In 7979 Castle Advent Calendar, she is depicted casting magical lighting bolts from her hand. 852293 LEGO Castle Giant Chess Set features her holding a snake and spider instead. In LEGO Quest & Collect, she has a black broomstick that she uses to fly.
Background[]
Bat Witch would transform into a bat and scare travelers in the forest. One day, she was grabbed by a hungry owl while in her bat form, leading her to forgo this transformation and remain in her human form. Now, she only scares travelers by telling them stories about hungry owls.
In LEGO Quest & Collect, Bat Witch is a magical attacker with the skills Swarm of Fear, Hungry Swarm, and Fear Removal.

- Bat Witch does not appear in any regular Castle set, only appearing as the Queen of a chess set and Day 14 of an advent calendar. A different Sorceress appears in 4850307 LEGO Battles instead.
