7621 The Lost Tomb was released in 2008 as part of the LEGO Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark line. Included are Indiana Jones, Marion and a Skeleton minifigures. It has 263 pieces.

Description[]

The set consists of three minifigures (Indiana Jones, Marion Ravenwood and a skeleton) and one build (the tomb). The tomb is built primarily using light sand coloured bricks. It features two statues of the Ancient Egyptian God of Death, Anubis, which can fall down and knock out the walls upon the pulling of a pin on each side. Behind the hieroglyphs at the top are several snakes which can be allowed to fall down when a slab is pressed down on the rear of the tomb. The is also a skeleton hanging on a chain behind the right wall.

Notes[]

The set contains a hieroglyph depicting C-3PO and R2-D2 from Star Wars, which was a reference inserted into the Movie by George Lucas. These can be spotted in the film on one of the walls of the Well of Souls.
This set was included in the Product Collections set K7623 Indiana Jones Classic Adventure Collection.
At least in some printings, the manual's bill of materials incorrectly lists two additional minifigure torsos as being included. The torsos are those designed for Satipo and René Belloq, and only appeared in set 7623 Temple Escape of the same theme.
