7106 Droid Escape is a Classic Star Wars set released in 2001. It includes C-3PO and R2-D2 Minifigures.
Background[]
The set from Star Wars Episode IV when C-3PO and R2-D2 escape Tantive IV in an escape pod. The Empire scan the pod for life but due to the droids not being organic life-forms they escaped. They land on the sand planet of tatooine R2-D2 and C-3PO then split up, both going different ways. R2-D2 would eventually get captured by the Jawa's as long as C-3PO.
