6653 Highway Maintenance Truck was a Town set released in 1982.
Description[]
The set contains 48 pieces that build into a light transport truck, two signs and one minifigure with a wrench and walkie-talkie. It is one of the few early Town sets with the feature that the minifigure can fit in the car.
The truck and the minifigure both feature a logo commonly used by European motorways. The set contained stickers that allowed to apply the logo with either blue or green background in order to accurately reproduce the correct logo version for the respective country.
