Shirley Clarence, referred to in-game just as Shirley, is the Gambler Asterisk holder in Bravely Default II. She can be fought in the Savalon gaming hall at any time after acquiring the Beastmaster Asterisk, as part of the quest Taking a Gamble, though she does not have any direct role in the game’s story.

Shirley fights using abilities from the Gambler Asterisk’s Gaming job command. In the first battle against her, she uses Odds or Evens, Elemental Wheel, and High Roller. When faced in the Halls of Tribulation, she uses Odds or Evens, Bold Gambit, High Roller, Real Elemental Wheel, and Unlucky Eight.
