Grandpa Thyme is the father of Mr. Salt and the grandfather of Paprika, Cinnamon, Sage, & Ginger. His first episode is Happy Birthday, Sage & Ginger. He is voiced by Martin Roach.

His appearance is a more lighter cap like Mr. Salt, Mrs. Pepper, Paprika, and Grandma Cayenne, he has a green color, white bushy eyebrows, a white moustache, and is more rounded. Unlike his son and daughter-in-law, he doesn’t have a French accent but has an American accent like his grandchildren.
