Paprika is a main character on Blue's Clues and Blue's Clues & You!.
Description[]
Paprika is Mr. Salt's and Mrs. Pepper's daughter. She was born in the season one finale. Unlike her parents, she does not speak with a French accent. She did speak in third person as a baby and toddler (ex. "Paprika hungry"). Many of Paprika's belongings are made from typical food items, such as her orange rattle and peanut shell cradle. Her favorite toy is a gummy teddy bear.
In the fourth season, Paprika grows slightly older and becomes a preschooler. She trades her peanut cradle for a bread bed and acts as a role model to her new younger brother, Cinnamon. Cinnamon takes her place as the youngest member of the Blue's Clues house in the last three seasons. That is until the reboot, in which the newborn twins, Sage and Ginger, take Cinnamon's place in terms of youngest shaker to be born by Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper.
In Blue's Clues & You! she's shown to have grown into a tween and loves being with her family, mostly Cinnamon. She is shown with her graham cracker phone, but she's also shown helping her family make food or babysit the twins. She didn't have much of a speaking role in season 1 but in season 2, she started to talk a little bit more.
Looks[]
Paprika is mostly a red brown color. She has a gray-colored cap with three holes on the top, a pink mouth, and two short black arms. In the first three seasons, Paprika is very short. She grows kind of taller in the fourth season episode What's New Blue?, when she becomes Cinnamon's older sister.
Appearances[]
Paprika appears in many episodes of Blue's Clues. Her first appearance was in "Blue's News." Her last appearance in an episode of Blue's Clues was in the series finale, "Bluestock." She makes an additional appearance in the Blue's Room special "Meet Blue's Baby Brother" and appeared in numerous PC games including "Blue's Birthday Adventure", "Blue's Treasure Hunt: A Learning Adventure", "Blue's Art Time Activities", "Blue's Reading Time Activities", and "Blue's Big Musical".

- In the original series, Paprika was the first of three main characters introduced later than "Snack Time," the others being Cinnamon and Joe.
- Paprika was the second clue in "What's New, Blue?."
- Many toys and promotions refer to her as Baby Paprika.
- In Blue's Clues & You! Paprika is usually seen holding a smartphone. It’s implied she’s a tween.
- "Nurture!" (because she needs something) and "Love Day" (because she thinks Mr. Salt doesn’t love her) are the only 2 episodes Paprika cries.
- "Blue's Big Pajama Party", "Blue's Big Musical", and 100th Episode Celebration" are the only 3 episodes Paprika appeared in the beginning.
- Her interests include water boarding as well as exploring animals from episodes like Blue's Beach Bonanza and Blue's Anywhere Box Surprise.
- It is revealed in "Sage & Ginger's Baby Book" that she can play the guitar.
- Her voice actor Shechinah Mpumlwana also does the role of Peg from the Nick Jr show, Corn & Peg in which her brother Cinnamon's voice actor Jaiden Cannatelli who plays Corn.
- She is the second Nick Jr character to be the eldest big sister of a younger sibling and younger twin siblings, the first was Ruby from Max & Ruby in which the sister and brother got twin siblings.
