X-Genome Code

The X-Genome Code (XGC), or Sign of the Beast, is a shining mark which appeared on the body of Zoanthropes during the events of Bloody Roar 3 . 

Each symbol represents the beast form of the fighters and, since Bloody Roar 3, appears each time a zoanthrope transforms.

The effect of the XGC mark varies according to the bearer. For most of them, the mark is a prediction of near death. In Bloody Roar 3, Lanfa fell ill fron the mark.

We finally discover that the XGC is the result of the liberation of the Tabula of a Thousand Beasts an ancient and accursed relic that Xion used to spread darkness on the world.
