Chapter 162

Summary[]

After Lufulu hears Asta comment about how he is Luck's friend, Lufulu comments about how they are starting to get him angry. Lufulu also comments about how there is someone like Asta, who does not have a bit of Mana, exist. Asta replies that all of the Black Bulls acknowledge him and will not let any of them be lost.^[1] Lufulu starts to destroy the town again, and comments about how he does not care who Asta is and how Asta will not be able to follow him movements. Lufulu goes to kill Asta, while thinking about how Asta will die by his friend's hand. As Lufulu gets close enough, Asta goes to slash Lufulu but Lufulu dodges. Lufulu is shocked by this and goes to widen the distance. Lufulu thinks about how a human will not be able to keep up with his speed, when Asta suddenly appears in front of him. Asta comments about how will be able to follow Lufulu anywhere because, it is easy to follow Lufulu when he is angry, along with his sword is sensitive to Lufulu's massive magic power.^[2] As Asta continues to follow Lufulu, Lufulu says that Asta is annoying and fires lightning balls at Asta. Asta easily counters the in coming attacks, which Lufulu takes to chance the land of hit on Asta while commenting that Asta will not be able to overcome his anger.

Asta thinks about how Lufulu is just using his battle intuition, and asks Magna and Vanessa to cover him. Magna and Vanessa throw fireballs and Rubble at Lufulu but Lufulu dodges everything. Lufulu says that those will not be able to hit him, and tells Asta that he has a handle of his speed before hitting Asta. As Lufulu says that Asta is finished, which Asta thinks about how his body is at his limit and that he will have to settle this with his next attack.^[3] Asta goes to charge at Asta, which Magna creates a smokescreen to block Lufulu's sight. Lufulu decides to find Asta by expanding his mana, and sensing where his mana is being dispelled. Lufulu thinks about how he now has Asta, after he senses that Asta is heading straight at him. Lufulu thinks about how his anger is stronger as he prepares to strike Asta. Vanessa uses her thread in order to slow Asta down, while Magna uses a fireball to cut Vanessa's thread. Lufulu thinks about how Asta used the thread to adjust the timing of his attack. Asta thinks about how their feelings are more tenacious and land a hit of Lufulu.^[4]
