Octopod

An octopod, or octopus, is a sea creature that dwells in the oceans off Westeros and Essos, probably similar to real-life octopodes.
Ghiscari are fond of rich food, including octopus stew.[1] The Merman's Court inside New Castle in White Harbor features paintings of octopods slithering amongst rocks and sunken ships.[2]
