A Clash of Kings
Tyrion Lannister visits Chataya's brothel to cover his secret visits to his mistress, Shae, going upstairs with Alayaya to a room with a secret passage. Dancy wagers her black pearls to Marei, another whore at the brothel, that she can bed Tyrion within a fortnight. Dancy attempts to convince Tyrion to take her upstairs, but he is faithful to Shae and refuses her advances.[2]
A Storm of Swords
Dancy changes the color of her hair to honey blond.[3][4]
When Prince Oberyn Martell arrives at King's Landing, and suggests that he is looking for a blonde woman to share with his paramour Ellaria Sand, Tyrion recommends Dancy to him.[3]
