Jessica Jade Andres is a Filipina actress originating from Minnesota.[1] After two minor roles in the TV series Gossip Girl, Andres' first major role came in a short film directed by Nicole Roberts called Out of Darkness. She has also acted in a few films as uncredited characters.[2]
In February 2009, it was announced that Andres would play Suki in the M. Night Shyamalan feature film The Last Airbender; however, her scenes were ultimately cut in the final movie. Shyamalan chose Andres because he said he would wanted the characters to all be played by "undiscovered" actors. There were a few pictures released of Andres as Suki, along with the rest of the Kyoshi Warriors, and the group was also included the French trailer for the film.[3] They are also included in a deleted scene titled "The Avatar has Returned" in the DVD release of The Last Airbender.
