Seltz Vakstrum (セルツ・ヴァクストゥーム, Serutsu Vakusutuum^?) is the main protagonist of Tales of Wahrheit. Born into a wealthy family, he is a bright, pure, and curious young man leading a comfortable life with his family in Gross Heidel. He is the son of Eizel (アイゼル, Aizeru^?), a world famous weapon merchant whom Seltz respects very much and who unknown to him, is known in his line of work as Merchant of Death Eizel (死の商人のアイゼル, Shi no Shounin no Aizeru^?). While attending the launch of the world's first airship, the Luftship, designed by his father, the ceremony ends in disaster as it explodes, leading to Eizel being arrested and charged as the mastermind of a terrorist attack. This prompts Seltz to embark on a journey to clear his name.

Appearance and Personality[]

Seltz is a spiky haired green eyed teenager with brown hair and blonde streaks with a leather headband wrapped around his head. He wears a short white jacket with yellow and green patterns that exposes part of his midriff, that also has a high collar and black sleeves. His loose-fitting dark green pants are secured by multiple belts and straps. He also has yellow armguards and fingerless gloves.

While he can often be reckless and stubborn, Seltz is a cheerful, curious, and fearless young man who firmly believes in the words his father taught him : "Weapons are a deterrent to prevent war." Although unaware of the full truth, he places complete trust in his father and his abilities. To that end, he frequently attends trade meetings and expands his knowledge to become similar to him. He has a passion for collecting weapons and exploring new technologies. He also very much does not like spicy foods.

Fighting Style[]

Seltz fights with a sword in his right hand and a shield in his left one, reminiscing of Cress Albane. Like the other physical fighters from his game, his artes are mostly unique to him though he still retains classic artes such as Demon Fang, Tiger Blade or Leaf Cutter. He also has access to his own healing arte.

Trivia[]

• Seltz has a mother named Mia (ミーア, Miia^?), a magician from Invistake, and a friend of the Queen of Invistake, plus a little sister, Shirin (シリン^?). Both escaped via teleportation magic following Eizel's arrest to avoid being detained by the Starklia Empire as well. This however caused Shirin to become amnesiac.
