First Aid as it appears in Tales of Destiny (PSX).
First Aid (ファー���トエイド Faasutoeido?) is a classic healing spell in the Tales series. It is usually the first healing spell to be usable with a low TP cost and casting time, restoring a small amount of HP to one ally.
Arte Description and History[]
First Aid has appeared in most of the games in the series as the most basic healing spell that support-based characters can learn. Its low TP cost and casting time makes it useful early in the games, but later healing techniques can be more effective due to either increased strength or group healing ability in one cast, despite their higher costs.
Although First Aid does not make it as an in-battle arte in Tales of Destiny 2, Atwight Eks uses First Aid when she displays the power of her Swordian to heal the hurt Laville Clemente at Dycroft.
In Tales of the Abyss, Tear Grants's First Aid can also heal Poison if it is equipped with a Grass Chamber. If it is used within a Water or Dark FOF Circle, it will turn into Meditation.
In Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World, monsters can learn the spell if they are given the Undine's Tears grimoire. Due to the spell's Water-elemental nature, it will grant a minor Water symbol to the Elemental Grid.
In Tales of Berseria, it is the only arte Seres uses that she does not share with Lailah from Tales of Zestiria, with whom she shares arteset.
In Tales of Crestoria, this arte restores 60% of an ally's max HP when used by Estelle, 55% when used by Kanonno Earhart's Summer Holiday unit and 45% when used by Zelos Wilder's Love's Fool unit.
In the collaboration with Exos Heroes, Estelle's passive skill, First Aid 3, heals an ally if they take damage and their health falls to 20% or less.
