Caladbolg as it appears in Tales of the Rays.
Caladbolg (カ��ドボルグ Karadoborugu?) is the name of a recurring sword used in the Tales series as well as Kanonno Grassvalley's spirit gear mirrage arte in Tales of the Rays.
Arte Description and History[]
Kanonno imbues her greatsword with chiral particles and commands the weapon to skewer the enemy into a giant boulder. The weapon then slashes an X out of the boulder before plunging itself into the rock, causing it to explode. As with the other Kanonnos' spirit gear mirrage artes, it references a mythological or fictional weapon; this one is Caladbolg in Irish myth. It draws its power from Gnome.
