- This template is an infobox for split personalities of characters. An example is to the shown here with referenced parameters down below.
- Syntax
- Type {{Split personality}} where you want to use it.
- Variations and Parameters
- In order to keep the wiki uniform throughout, please keep the parameters in this order.
name
- If the character's name is different than the pagename, then add |name=<!--name--> to the template. If
name
is not included, thenalterego
is used; Ifalterego
is not included, then the pagename is used. In the example, the name used is "Bob."
image
- Include a character's image by typing the png file into the template like so: |image=<!--png file name-->. In the example, the image used is "Barry Allen (Earth-1).png."
- If the character has an alter ego, include the image of their alter ego using the parameter |aeimage=<!--png file name-->.
species
- If the character's species is known, then add |species=<!--species name--> to the template. The display of this parameter is done with the help of Template:Character/Species. In the example, the species used is "Humans."
- If the character is a hybrid of two species, still add the species parameter with the FIRST species in the parameter. Then add |hybrid=<!--SECOND species name--> to the template. The display of this parameter is also done with the help of Template:Character/Species. It will automatically add the character into the hybrid category as well as the species category of both species types.
status
- The status parameter is used to display whether the character is currently deceased, alive, or any other circumstance. Add |status=<!--status--> to the template to include this parameter. If there is no
status
included, then the default display is "Unknown." If the inputstatus
value is deceased, then this template will automatically add the page to the Deceased category. In the example above, the status used is "Alive."
homeuniverse
- Add |homeuniverse=<!--universe name--> to the template to display the character's home universe. This template will automatically add the character into the appropriate "Characters from ____" category. In the example above, the homeuniverse used is "Earth-1."
currentuniverse
- If a character is not residing in the universe they originate from, add |currentuniverse=<!--universe name--> to the template to display the character's current universe. This is only to be used when the location has been confirmed to be the character's new home through physical appearance or a flashback. Due to the nature of the Anti-Monitor Crisis, this rule may be altered in that if someone without their memories restored recognizes the existence of a character from the pre-Crisis universe, then that character is confirmed to have existed on the post-Crisis universe. In the example above, the currentuniverse used is "Earth-Prime".
host
- If the character is inside a host body, add |host=<!--host's name--> to the template. The F template should be utilized here if at all possible with <br> included in between each host. In the example above, the host used is "{{F|Caitlin Snow}}."
creator
- If the character was created by a person/organization, add |creator=<!--creator name--> to the template. The F template should be utilized here if at all possible with <br> included in between each family member. In the example above, the creator used is "{{F|Team Arrow}}."
actor
- The character's actor's name should appear here as |actor=<!--actor's name-->. In the example above, the actor used is "Real Bob."
show
- If the character is prominent in one particular series, add |show=<!--series name--> to the template. This parameter is used to continue the color scheme used throughout Arrowverse Wiki. In the example above, the show used is "Black Lightning."
