Krypton was the home planet of the Kryptonians before its destruction.
History[]
The planet was known to be unstable, and would soon be destroyed. The infant Kal-El and his half-brother Tal-Rho were both sent to Earth with artificial intelligences of their parents in their pods. Shortly following his departure, the planet finally destabilized and exploded, destroying it utterly.[1]
