- The episode title is similar to that of "Into the Speed Force" from Season 3.
- According to Deon although the past, present, and future exist simultaneously in the Still Force, they had became out of balance due to the time sickness. This is shown by the newspaper picked up by Barry Allen, which changed from an article about the S.T.A.R. Labs particle accelerator explosion dated December 12, 2013 to an article from May 4, 2024 titled "Zoom and Godspeed Destroy Central City".
- When Barry was using the Still Force in which he saw the past, present and future, he name drops a person named Max. Max is most likely alluding to the speedster Max Mercury in the comics.
- The character of Max Mercury is introduced in "A New World, Part Four".
- The episode marked Eric Wallace's directional debut.
