Eil is a resident of Gotham City and a known car thief.
Biography[]
Eli was arrested for grand theft auto by the Gotham City Police Department when he met Sophie Moore, Ryan Wilder, and Luke Fox in a police department jail cell. He told them why he was there, but Ryan said that she and her friends were there "for literally nothing". Eli, noticing that he was surrounded by African-Americans, made statements professing that he could understand their plight, including holding up his fist as a sign of solidarity. Luke chuckled as he listened.
Eli felt that he was safer in a cell than on the streets because there were zombies eating people outside.
When Imani arrived and had the others freed, Eli was felt behind.
Later, Eli was working on stealing a car, when Luke approached him, demanding Eli to stop. Suddenly, Russell Tavaroff approached the men; Eli lied that Luke was trying to rob him. As Luke reached for his phone to dispute the allegations, Crows Agent Tavaroff yelled "Gun!" and shot Luke.[1] During the commotion to get Luke to the hospital, the Crows did not pursue Eli, so he took the car and left.
Batwoman later pursued Eli as he was driving the stolen car. She interrogated Eli, believing that he shot Luke to get the car, until he explained what really happened.[2]
