A Wing-Ding.
The Wing-Ding is a boomerang-shaped throwing weapon used by Nightwing as a non-lethal ranged attack alternative to firearms. It was Nightwing's counterpart to Batman's Batarang and Robin's Shuriken.
Gameplay[]
The player had an unlimited supply of Wing-Dings which could be equipped by holding L1/LT/RMB (PS3/XBOX360/PC) and thrown by pressing R1/RT/LMB (PS3/XBOX360/PC). You could also initiate a "Quickfire Wing-Ding" throw by just tapping L1/LT/Q (PS3/XBOX360/PC) and it hit the closest or most important target without fail.
Wing-Dings stunned enemies that didn't see them coming. In combat, Nightwing could chain them into his combos.

Trivia[]
- They didn't reappear in Batman: Arkham Knight, with Nightwing using his Escrima Sticks as his primary quick-fire gadget.
