Trevor Royle is a gangster from british soap opera, Hollyoaks. Trevor worked for mobster, Fraser Black and has history with both of Fraser's daughters in Clare and Grace.
He is portrayed by Greg Wood, previously Milburn.
History[]
Trevor was first introduced to show in April of 2013 where he meets Jacqui McQueen who attempts to scam Trevor out of thousands of pounds, Trevor discovers this and sets of to kill Jaacqui causing her to flee from tge village where she resided for almost 7 years. Trevor made his way to Hollyoaks Village having recruited Freddie Roscoe and later Ste Hay to sell drugs. Trevor turnee nasty towards Ste and Freddie whenever they would mess up and even beats up Ste one time. Trevor later recruits and pimps out Sinead O'Connor who later teams up with a detective named, Ritchie Trent, Trevor discovers this and later murderers Trent by breaking into his home and shooting Trent dead. Trevor then gets Freddie to dispose of Trents body. Trevor also continues to threaten the McQueen's attacking the likes of Mercedes and John Paul. Trevor also clashed with some of tge villagers such as Paul Browning and Freddie's older brother, Joe Roscoe.
Trevor was later revealed to be a henchman for Fraser Black as its revealed Fraser is a ruthless mob boss. It turns out Trevor had been working for Fraser for atleast the last 15 years. Trevor later reveals to have ties with notorious villain, Clare Devine as its seen Clare is infact Fraser's daughter. Trevor later brings a bomb to the village for Clare to detonate in The Loft to kill Mercedes however Trevor has second thoughts and attempts to stop Clare detonating the bomb however Sinead moved the bomb to Ste and Doug's leaving party thinking it was a bag of cash. The bomb went onto kill three people, leaving Trevor partly responsible and left alone with the responsibility as Clare was later murdered by Paul Browning.
Trevor began to fall in love with Fraser's other daughter, Grace Black which speeled trouble but ultimately they remained together. Trevor was later a suspect in the "Who killed Fraser Black?" Storyline however it was revealed to be Freddie Roscoe. Trevor's other storylines include, coercing characters such as Tony Hutchinson, Darren Osborne, Freddie and Robbie Roscoe into committing many crimes for him. Having a long lost son in Dylan Jenkins showing up. Feuding with the likes of The Roscoe family, Darren Osborne and Ben Bradley. Bringing gangsters like Ray McCormick, Big Bob and Ashley Davison to the village. Having an affair with fellow villain, Sienna Blake and finally being murdered on his wedding day to Grace after being sneakily Stabbed by Sienna's deranged daughter, Nico Blake.

Trivia[]
- Greg Wood who portrayed Trevor actually appeared twice before in Hollyoaks before being cast as Trevor in 2013. The first was as Kenneth Boyd in 2000 who was a friend of rapist Mark Gibbs who helped Mark along with his other friend, Stephen McGregor pin down Like Morgan as Mark attacked him. The second time was as a jury member during the rape trial of Beth Morgan to Scott Anderson In 2002. Both times Greg was credited as "Greg Milburn".
- Greg Wood is no stranger to the british soap opera playing villains in each of his roles bar his Hollyoaks roles, Greg's other roles include Terry Gibson on Brookside in 2002 and 2003 and later Rick Neelan in 2009-2010, 2012 and 2019 and having two roles in Emmerdale and shady characters, Callow in 2006 and Skin in 2009.
- Trevor is said to be similar to fellow Hollyoaks character, Warren Fox as both are extremely ruthless gangsters but also have a very soft and sensitive side.
