Samantha Malcolm is the main antagonist of the episode ''The Uncanny Valley'' of Criminal Minds in the seventh season of the series.

Background[]
When Samantha was ten years old, her mother died and her father, who was a pediatrician, sexually molested her, and in addition he abused her and subjected her to electroshock therapy. However, Samantha later shows an obsession with dolls, while her father also gave antipsychotic declaring that he was mentally inept. Then Samantha would kidnap women and try to turn them into dolls.

Then when the three women she kidnapped died from the results of the medications she used to silk them. She is later seen kidnapping Bethany Wallace. After agreeing with the modus operandis of putting on a handkerchief and the manner of the deaths, BAU then immediately deduces that it is a woman who is the author of the murders, and that her goal may not be to kill and collect her victims. BAU then has 24 hours to find Bethany since she is diabetic and will die if left untreated. Then Morgan and Rossi speak to a doctor who says will probably die if she is not medicated.
After BAU soon concluded that the suspect was actually a victim of molestation after reading the crime scenes. Rossi and Reid later notice Dr. Arthur Malcolm's doll collection and Reid confronts him and both he and Rossi promise that they will make their patients who were victims of molestation testify against him to bring him dowm. With that, Dr. Malcolm decides to cooperate in exchange for telling the prosecutor that he cooperated, he then says Samantha's adress.
Arriving inside Samantha then enters the house and realizes that things are out of place, before she tries to stab Bethany with scissors Reid gives her dolls and Reid promises that she can keep the dolls. She then surrenders and is arrested.
