In his robot suit, Brain poses as "Patty Ann". The illusion is so convincing (not) that Elmyra's crush, Rudy, falls head over heels for him, at the same time Elmyra became jealous of Patty Ann.

- In one scene, Pinky and the Brain play the 1997 film, Titanic starring Katie Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio in the toilet.
- This is the fourth time in the Animaniacs franchise where the RMS Titanic is referenced following "Moby or Not Moby," a"Das Mouse," Hooray for North Hollywood Part 2. It will be later be referenced in the 1999 video game Animaniacs: A Gigantic Adventure.
- Pinky's question to the Brain explains the credits scene from The Flintstones when Fred Flintstone's car tipped over by giant ribs.

Plot[]
Brain tries to make Elmyra win the spelling bee for the $25,000 prize money he needs for his latest plot to take over the world by hiding in her ear. When she advances to the finals, Elmyra gets her hair done a different way that exposes her ear, forcing Brain to cheat a different way. Unfortunately, Brain is found cheating by a vengeful Baloney the Dinosaur.
