The square or tile is a unit of area in the Animal Crossing series. One square is quite small, having roughly the same area as the player. The easiest way to make one square visible is to put a design on the ground, which will be the exact size of a square. Although squares are most visible with furniture, they are used with all game objects, such as bell bags or furniture leaves. In all the games to date, there are 256 squares in one acre, with each acre being a 16 by 16 square.
