The Garden Event is a plant-growing and creature-catching event set in the garden. Players have to plant seeds in order to attract and capture creatures. This type of event is found in Pocket Camp.
To begin the event, the player must visit their campsite. The player is then forced to talk to the host of the event. They are given 2 types of seeds, one seed with the "+" icon at the end of the name. This means these seeds are boosted, and will bloom in about 30 seconds, much quicker than the normal event seeds. There is no other way to get boosted seeds apart from the host. Most normal/seasonal seeds will bloom in 3 hours. The goal of this event is to catch a certain amount of each creature. You will be rewarded with furniture, clothing, accessories, essences, Bells and event material.
As the event progress, 2-3 days into the event, 1 new seed type and 2 new creatures will be introduced. These creatures will be moderately/very difficult to catch, and they will be attracted to only the new flower. It's much harder to catch these creatures because the rates are lower; the two new creatures can only be caught from one seed.
Seeds[]
The player has to plant event-exclusive seeds, which will eventually bloom and draw creatures to them. Most seeds sprout in 2-3 hours. After harvesting the blooms, the player can trade them in to complete event goals and get rewards. It is possible to trade in 20 flowers for 10 seeds by talking to Lloid. Other furniture items are also available through trade.
Seeds can be obtained by:
- Purchasing them from Lloid
- Trading flowers with Lloid
- Completing animal requests
- Talking to animals at the campsite or cabin
- Sharing creatures to a friend's garden
Creatures[]
During each Garden Event, there are creatures that the player must catch. Creatures vary from insects and animals to objects.
There are three tiers for the creatures. Variables A, B, and C represent the different types of seeds.

Tips[]
If the player plans to participate in a Garden Event, it is recommended that they begin planting as soon as the event begins. This allows the player to grow the most flowers and therefore, catch the most bugs.
Sharing bugs to the player's friend's gardens is also important; it will give them Friend powder and seeds. Friend powder is used to play Brake Trapper at OK Motors, play some of Blather's Maps and to craft certain items.
Some of the gardening quests give the player fertilizer as a reward, so they can speed up the process. 1 fertilizer will shave 30 minutes off the growth time. If the player has a newly sowed garden, it will take 120 bags of fertilizer to instantly sprout the seeds (3 hours for a flower to grow, 6 bags per flower, 20 spots = 120 fertilizer).
