Space Encounter is an exhibit replacing an old entrance to the Kennedy space center starting March 22, 2013.^[1] The existence of the park was known a month prior.^[2][3]

The 4,485-square-foot exhibit, which is included in regular Visitor Complex admission, brings to life the space adventures of the Angry Birds as they follow their kidnapped eggs into an inter-galactic wormhole, come face-to-face with Space Pigs and gear up with heroic superpowers.^[4]

Games[]

There are 3 games in this exhibit which has:

• Eggsteroids Slingshot: A physical version of the app.^[5]
• Red Planet Laser Challenge: a laser game  involving dodging lasers and trying to get out   before time runs out.^[5]
• Danger Zone: A mirror maze with special effects and a gift shop.^[5]

Digital Activities[]

there are 3 digital activities in this exhibit witch are...

• Cold Cuts old Cuts Slide Puzzle: witch is a slide puzzle involving 3 levels: Easy, medium and hard.^[5]
• Make an Angry Bird: Which you can make your own Angry Bird with different colors, shapes and accessories.^[5]
• Game zone: Which is possible to play the game in a small tournament with other guests^[5]

​Danger Zone Gift Shop[]

Inside the Danger Zone Mirror Maze there is a gift shop where you can buy Angry Birds merchandise including exclusive Danger Zone t-shirts.

Trivia[]

• NASA astronaut, Donald Pettit was present during opening day.^[4] He was also the individual who announced Angry Birds Space from the International Space Station.
