- "Forget monsters - the giant redwood trees here have to be seen to be believed. The Lumberjacks in this valley often boast that they are the toughest pigs of the bunch. What porkies! The truth is that they squeal like petrified piglets when I fly by."
- — Mighty Eagle, The World of Angry Birds Official Guide[1]
The Red Giant Valley is a location that appears in the Angry Birds series. It is a region located in the northeast of Piggy Island that is known for its giant redwood trees.
Description[]
The Red Giant Valley is a valley at the coast of northeastern Piggy Island, bordering the Square Forest at the south, the Crown Mountains at the west, and the Lake Land at the north. The region is covered by thick, enormous redwood trees, hence the name. Other forms of enlargened flora, like giant mushrooms, are found too. Rivers flow down the forest, and lumberjack pigs live here, implying the valley is the site of logging activities by the Piggy kingdom.[1] On one occasion, the Red Giant Valley was much more lugubrious, with lanterns lighting up the region, completely black, deciduous trees, and an orange and black sky with a full Moon at night.
Game appearances[]
Angry Birds Seasons[]
- Main article: Trick or Treat
In Angry Birds Seasons, the Red Giant Valley serves as the site of Trick or Treat, the very first episode of the game, added in October 2010. During one Halloween, the Angry Birds found themselves a home in a run-down log cabin on the edge of the valley, when their eggs were stolen by the pigs. Fortunately, the flock defeated King Pig's army and retrieved their eggs.[1]
Angry Birds Epic[]
The Red Giant Valley returns in Angry Birds Epic as one of the regions available. It has five levels, which are locked behind a Red Pig Gate and three of them behind a Friendship Gate as well. Only a single enemy is introduced in Red Giant Valley.
