Some very sad news
It is with great sadness that I have to tell you that our team mate Kath has died.
As some of you have observed, Kath has been missing from our last few posts, she had been really poorly following a devastating medical diagnosis last month.
I feel fortunate that I was able to chat with her a few times during those weeks and she asked that her crafting friends knew what was happening and her family have now asked that I pass on the news to the crafting world. Sadly I am having to make this posting far sooner than I expected.
Kath was a stamper, starting with a love of Penny Black stamps many years ago, she also enjoyed working with Woodware stamps. More recently she discovered Chocolate Baroque stamps and immediately loved their floral designs. She gained great satisfaction from paper piecing using her every growing collection of DP’s, over the years she shared many beautiful creations using this technique.
She was an invaluable team member at both Allsorts, We Love Chocolate Baroque and formerly Penny Black challenge. She was always so reliable with work prepared weeks in advance and the first to help out with commenting if another DT was unwell or away. I feel privileged to have know her for many years, met up with her and have her as a good friend.
She will be missed by so many and we send our love and thoughts to her family at this very sad and difficult time.
I will leave you with a few of Kath’s recent cards, the first using what she told me has been her favourite in recent months, it's called Canary Bird Rose from CB......
