CGM48 Logo
CGM48 (short for Chiang Mai48) is the 1st domestic Thai idol sister group of BNK48, and 6th international sister group of AKB48. The group was announced through BNK48's Thank You & the Beginner @Chiangmai on June 2, 2019. The 1st Generation members were announced on October 26, 2019.

Debut, 2019
- On June 2 coinciding with the group's 2nd debut anniversary at the "Thank You & The Beginner" event in Chiang Mai, BNK48 announced their new domestic sister group CGM48, as well as AKB48's new international sister group.
- On June 15, the group announced their application for 1st Generation members.
- On July 10, two members Punyawee Jungcharoen and Izuta Rina announced that they will move to CGM48, to hold the group as their captain and group manager (shihainin).
- On July 15, the application for 1st Generation members was ended.
- On October 26, the 1st Generation members were announced in public at the "We Talk To You" event.
- On December 12, BNK48 announced their upcoming 2nd general election, which will be held on March 22, 2020. Also, this is the first time to participate all CGM48 members on the said event.
- On December 21, the group performed for the first time in the event of BNK48's 7th Single 77 no Suteki na Machi e Road Show. Also, the group announced in public for upcoming debut single Chiang Mai 106, originally from NGT48's Max Toki 315-gou. The center for the upcoming debut single is Sita Teeradechsakul.
Chiang Mai 106, January 2020
- On February 9, the group performed for the first time for their newly release single Chiang Mai 106. Also, the music video was released on the same day, and the formation of Team C, where Punyawee Jungcharoen and Izuta Rina promoted on the said team. Their single included a voting ballots for the upcoming BNK48 9th Single Senbatsu Sousenkyo.
- On February 14, Valentine's Day, BNK48 released their 1st preliminary results of their 2nd General Election.
- On March 22, due to COVID-19, BNK48 postponed their final results of 9th Single General Election, and moved to April 19.
- On April 17, two days before the final results of BNK48 2nd General Election, the group released their Lanna version of Touch by Heart, in light with the medical front liners during COVID-19 and firefighters who volunteered to stop the forest fire in Chiang Mai.
- On April 19, BNK48 released their final results of their 2nd General Election, where Jane elected her as center girl for upcoming 9th single. Also, this is the first time to have a CGM48 members whose ranked within top 48.
- On June 8, the group released the PV version of Dareka no Tame ni on their official YouTube channel. This song is dedicated to all health workers during COVID-19, and fire fighters during forest fire in Chiang Mai. Also, this song was later included to their 2nd single Melon Juice.
- On July 25, BNK48 released their 9th single Heavy Rotation. This is the first single to include CGM48 members whose ranked within top 48 last April 19.
- On July 26, BNK48 held a live performance of BNK48 Wonderland in Ultra Arena Hall, ShowDC, Bangkok, where the group performed their 8th single High Tension and Touch By Heart, and CGM48's 1st single Chiang Mai 106 and Dareka no Tame ni. And also, they performed the newly release of their 9th single Heavy Rotation.
Melon Juice, October 2020
- On August 13, the group announced their upcoming 2nd single Melon Juice, originally from HKT48. Also, the centers are Sita Teeradechsakul and 1st time center Vithita Srasreesom (Kaning), although the song is in a double center format.
- On October 17, the group performed their 2nd single Melon Juice, to promote their single set to release on October 31 with the corresponding music video.
- On October 31, the group released their Melon Juice Music Video along with the audio/digital version of their 2nd single.
- On November 9, the group released their full 2nd single.
- On December 1, Kaiwan was suspended by the management for two months due to her violations in company's rules.
Mali, 2021
- On February 9, a year anniversary of their 1st single release last year, the group announced their upcoming 3rd single release, and to be centered by Kaning. Also, their 3rd single main song will be an original song.
- On March 11, the group had their online live at their official YouTube channel, entitled CGM48 Music Box 1: Len Hong...Tam-nong Pleng (CGM48 Music Box 1: เล่นฮ้อง...ทำนองเพลง).
- On March 21, AKB48 had an online press conference for their upcoming 3rd AKB48 Group Asia Festival that will held on June 27, together with JKT48, BNK48, MNL48, AKB48 Team SH, SGO48, AKB48 Team TP, and newly participation of CGM48. Also, on the same day, the group released their 3rd single Mali, together with their corresponding music video.
- On April 12, the group send their encouragement to the citizens in Chiang Mai due to the pandemic situation. Also, they announced that there will be a special version of Mali as a little inspiration for everyone.
- On April 15, the group released their special version of Mali on their YouTube Channel.
- On May 2, the group released the lyrics video of Chain of love on their YouTube Channel.
- On May 4, the group released the lyrics video of Anata ga Ite Kureta kara (บ้านแห่งหัวใจ) on their YouTube Channel.
- On May 17, Meen was suspended by the management for two months due to her violations in company's rules.
Eien Pressure, 2021
- On October 21, the group announced their upcoming 1st album release. First time to not include Izurina on Senbatsu lineup.
- On November 13, the group premiered their 1st album main song music video Eien Pressure.
- On November 14, they released the digital version of their 1st album Eien Pressure.
- On November 15, Nicha was suspended by the management for one month due to lack of training which didn't meet their standards.
Mae Shika Mukanee, May 2022
- On February 2, the group released the full 1st album on their online streaming platforms.
- On February 20, Pepo announced her graduation.
- On March 13, the group announced their upcoming 4th single release. The title of the main song is from AKB48's 35th single, and centered by Fortune. Also, Pepo graduated from the group.
- On May 28, the group released their 4th Single Music Video on their official YouTube channel.
- On August 8, the group released their full 4th single on their online streaming devices.
- On October 30, the group announced their 2nd Generation Members during their encore in BNK48 & CGM48 Request Hour 2022 event, along with the introduction of BNK48 4th Generation Members.
2565, December 2022
- On November 8, the group announced their upcoming 5th single release. Also, this is their second original single release, and first time to include 2nd Generation members in the Senbatsu. The main song is centered by Marmink.
- On December 22, the group announced their 5th Single coupling songs. The first coupling song is centered by Angel and Punch, entitled Only Today. And the 2nd coupling song is centered by Aom, entitled Kimi wa Boku da.
- Only Today was used by BNK48 as a coupling song from their 10th Single in two versions: band version and acapella version. This time, the group will use the original version from their mother group.
- Kimi wa Boku da is a main song from Maeda Atsuko's 2nd solo single.
- On December 23, the group released their teaser trailer of 5th Single Music Video on their official YouTube account.
- On December 24, the group released their full MV of 2565 on their official YouTube channel.
- On December 25, Christmas Day, the group released their audio/digital version of 2565 on their online streaming devices.
Sansei Kawaii!, April 2023
- On February 9, the group released their 3rd debut anniversary video on CGM48 Pop Up Live and later uploaded to their official YouTube channel.
- On February 14, the group announced their 2nd Generation debut. Their debut song is Yume wa Nigenai, and centered by Jingjing.
- Yume wa Nigenai is originally a coupling song from NMB48's 19th single Boku Datte naichau yo.
- On February 17, the group relesed their full 5th single in physical/digital streaming platforms.
- On March 25, the group announced their upcoming 6th single release. The main song entitled Sansei Kawaii!, centered by Nenie and Pim. And the coupling song entitled Hotei Sokudo to Yuuetsukan, centered by Sita.
- Sansei Kawaii! is originally a main song from SKE48's 13th single. This is also the first SKE48's song to be sung in Thai.
- Hotei Sokudo to Yuuetsukan is originally a coupling song from AKB48's 50th single 11gatsu no Anklet.
- On April 1, the group released their MV teaser of 2nd Generation's debut song Yume wa Nigenai on their YouTube Channel.
- On April 2, the group released their 2nd Generation debut MV Yume wa Nigenai on their YouTube Channel.
- On April 3, the group released their audio/digital version of Yume wa Nigenai on their online streaming platforms, in advanced of the 6th Single release.
- On April 12, the group release their MV teaser of Sansei Kawaii! (เธออะ Kawaii!) on their YouTube Channel.

Hisashiburi no Lip Gloss, September 2023
- On August 31, the group announced their 2nd album main song Hisashiburi no Lip Gloss (Lip Gloss ที่คิดถึง).
- Hisashiburi no Lip Gloss is originally an A-side of AKB48's 60th Single.
- This is also the group's 3rd time (2nd since the release of the 1st Album Eien Pressure) to use any of AKB48 covered songs as their main track.
- On September 7, a week after the 2nd Album Main Track announcement, the group announced their 16 Senbatsu Members, where Aom was selected as their Center of the song.
- On September 9, Twobam announced her graduation. She is the first 2nd Generation member to be announced her graduation on the said group.
- On September 23, the group released their concept MV teaser of Hisashiburi no Lip Gloss on their YouTube Channel, followed by the audio / digital version of the album's main song.
- On September 24, the group released their full MV of Hisashiburi no Lip Gloss on their official YouTube Channel.
- On November 14, the group released their full album of Hisashiburi no Lip Gloss.
- On December 9, Pim was hailed as the Center girl for the upcoming BNK48 16th Single release.
- She is the first CGM48 member to be ranked 1st in the latest BNK48 Senbatsu Election
