To a new school

My older daughter starts her studies at university

this week and I send her this cute card, just to say

"You'll do fine" and the hidden thought that

mum is thinking about you and loves you.

Sunflowers

This is the last day of my summer holiday,

Dali

Last weeks freebie with a purchase in Gecko Galz

was a Dali themed sheet and I just needed to have it, LOL

I have a perfect stamp set from AALL to go with the

Dali art images I got from Gecko Galz.

Dali colored with Copics and Prismacolors.

Happy Birthday; 3D

Sometimes is fun to make "old fashion"

crafting with 3D images and there is always

a need for some Birthday cards.

So I've used 2 3D images for this card, I think

they go very well together, :)

Egyptian Queen

I got wonderful set of Kleopatra images

from Gecko Galz and wanted to use then right away.

Sentiment is from AALL stamp set and I know

It's not a Kleopatra quote, but I think it goes well anyway...

I found these Eastern style stickers from

flea market and I decided to use some and

found this dragon images from one of Gecko Galz sheets,

and thought they will be nice together.

Altered book; Vintage mermaid

When I saw this months Stamp -challenge

image at Gecko Galz I knew it would make

a perfect page for my altered book, since

it's all about under water life.

I glued the image on the page, covered the page with clear

gesso, painted all with H2O watercolors, used white pen

here and there and added the sentiment sticker.

H2O has a lovely metallic shine, but sadly it doesn't

show very well in the picture.

Gecko Galz monthly image -challenge image is very romantic,

lady with a love letter, old fashion snail mail letter, :D

Die cuts, clear embossing powder, Design paper, vellum and some

stamping. Really like how the vellum butterfly turned out with

clear sparkling embossing powder, looks a bit like class.

In the Sea, II

Yesterday I made one of these mermaid (?) card,

and since I had all the "stuff" out, I made another one.

This time little more bling and layering.

Embossed image, glitter glue on the bubbles, some colorless

sequins, coloring with H2O watercolors.

In the Sea

I have had this AALL stamp a while now and I thought

it's about time to ink her.

I stamped the image, embossed it with white powder

and colored it with H2O watercolors,

they have lovely shine on them.

Sentiment is from Altenew stamp set.

Then I just put the panel to the base using 3D tape

and added a hint of blue under the panel.

I made a very girly Congratulations card

using Jean's Cherry Blossom.

My laser printer don't take watercolor paper so

here I printed the image on normal paper and then

covered it with clear gesso and then watercolored it.

Don't really work like on watercolorpaper but

anyway I can use watercolors with this technique.
