Jeffrey Imada (born June 17, 1955; age 69) is a stunt performer, coordinator, second unit director and actor who played one of Cheng Zhi's men in Season 6.
Biography and career[]
Jeff Imada was born and raised in Inglewood, California. He began studying martial arts at the age of fifteen. Imada studied at El Camino College and UCLA, where he majored in pre-med and minored in music. During that time, he started working as a movie extra and eventually became a member of the Screen Actors Guild, Stunts Unlimited, and the Directors Guild of America.
Through his career, Imada has worked with talents such as John Carpenter, Henry Kingi, Sr., Christopher Walken, Ron Yuan, Don Cheadle, John Meier, Matt Damon, Tzi Ma, Russell Wong, J.J. Perry, Robert Rodriguez, Tsuyoshi Abe, Patrick Swayze, Simon Rhee, James Lew, Philip Tan, Kurt Russell, Al Leong, Robert Downey Jr. and Mel Gibson.
Aside of acting and stunt performer, Imada has also served as technical advisor on numerous films. He was also a close friend and stunt advisor to the late Brandon Lee.
Role on 24[]
Imada played one of Cheng Zhi's men during Season 6. In "Day 6: 12:00am-1:00am", he and Andy Cheng's character brought Audrey Raines out of the limousine on Cheng's order. When CTU arrived, Jack Bauer shot and killed him. Imada was uncredited for his role.
