Biography and career[]
Alfred Woodley was born in New York City. He is the eldest of four siblings. After leaving Bronx Community College, Woodley joined the New York City Department of Correction where he worked as a Correction Officer on Rikers Island. After resigning law enforcement, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting.
Starting his professional career in 1997, Woodley has appeared in films like Bugged, Nandi, Park, Smokin' Aces (with Maury Sterling and Tommy Flanagan), and Street Dreams. He has also appeared in TV shows like Women's Murder Club, State of Mind (with Mido Hamada, Devon Gummersall, and Chris Diamantopoulos), The District, and Arli$$.
