The Northgate Woods is a forested area in Gilneas, located north of Gilneas City and south of the Greymane Wall. The Northgate River acts as its eastern border while the road leading to the wall's entrance is its western border. There is no incentive to go here during the worgen starting experience.

By the time of the Silverpine Forest storyline, the area is not a displayed subzone. The Forsaken Forward Command and Rutsak's Guard are located here.

Notes[]

It can be problematic to reveal this part of the map during Worgen starting experience, as simply entering the area will not do it. To reveal the area, walk into unrevealed section of the map, roughly where the letters on the map are, then relog or use /reload command.
