This is the documentation page for a particular constraint type. See Help:Property constraints portal for a general overview of property constraints. |
integer constraint (Q52848401) specifies that the value of the property should have integer type, i.e. a quantity without decimal places. This constraint type should only be used on properties with quantity datatype.
Examples:
If no constraint scope (P4680) is specified, this constraint is checked everywhere.
Possible actions
[edit]Violations of this constraint often result from decimal separator confusion. Users often use “.” (decimal point) as a thousand separator, although it is interpreted as the decimal separator (Q427968). To fix the violation, check which value was actually meant and update the claim accordingly.
Parameters
[edit]This constraint does not have any qualifier parameters.
