I'm back with a second round of Studio Calico 'Front Row' cards.
Here is my first card. Everything on it, except the Memory Box butterfly die and the Mister Huey's, came from the Card Kit.

It's a pocket card, created with an envelope from the kit. The message is on the tag in the pocket.

And that butterfly has lots of layers...

You could easily turn this design into a gift card holder too.

And here's my second card for today. It features bits and pieces from pretty much every kit - you can find the full details in my Studio Calico gallery. That's one of the best things about the kits - the way they all coordinate so beautifully. It really makes card making easy. Oh, and I used a gorgeous Simon Says Stamp die to cut the 'You' from the journaling card.

It seems like an AGE since Hero Arts released a new digikit, and finally this week they have 2 new ones. Hooray! The kits are called Love in Hearts and Borders, and Tulip Text.
Today I have some cards to share made with the Love in Hearts and Borders kit.
First up, a circle card made with two stamps from the kit, patterned paper from THIS Echo Park digikit, and some Nestabilities.

And my second card, which features a sentiment stamp from the kit which I copied and pasted in sepia and black then die cut using THIS tag die. The cute hearts are THESE ones, and I used patterned paper from Crate Paper's Fourteen 6 x 6 pad which, by the way, may be my favourite EVER paper pad. Lots more cards to come made with papers from this collection. :)

Hello, and welcome to the first of my posts sharing my Studio Calico February 'Front Row' Card Kit cards. I decided to break them up this month, as I created 11 cards with the kits. And I have a ton of stuff left over too. The kits really are inspiring. This month I played with the main card kit, the scrapbook kit, the Project Life kit, and the Big Screen and Junior Mints Add-Ons. And boy did I have fun.

Today's cards are all lovey-dovey cards... well, it is that time of year. :)

First, a fun card featuring the Big Screen Add On and some tiny die cut hearts from THIS cool Simon Says Stamp set.

I love these Simple Stories alphas. :)

Next, something a bit more manly. Arrows are manly, right? This card features a fab journaling card from the Project Life kit. Seriously, this kit is perfect for cardmakers. Cute little cards and elements, perfect for cards!

And finally for today, a simple Thought of the Day. :)

See those hearts, they were die cut (with THESE dies) from an adorable wood veneer journaling card from the Project Life kit. Gotta love that.
