It takes great character to do something different. Firstly credit to Kabir Khan for a great film,the guy deserved a blockbuster 200cr+ movie in his CV.I was pretty impressed by the 'kabul express' movie made by the same director.

Coming back to my first sentence of this review,it takes great character to do something different.The reason I say this is because definitely salman khan didn't need to give a performance like the one he has given in Bajrangi. The last 8 years are witness to his stardom and ability to attract the masses and set ringing the cash registers and most of the movies in this time period were well putting it mildly,short of any great story or exemplary acting still each of those movies were good enough to cross the 100cr mark. This is why I say that Salman Khan has great character,He didn't need to act or rather didn't even need to do this movie where there is just 1 action sequence but still the man has come forth and done an incredibly great movie where we see a salman khan before he became a superhero without a mask or an alter ego. This is the salman khan Bollywood needs but might not deserve.Recent years suggest High on content movies don't do much business as compared to the original 'BHAI' films.

Great movie,great acting by the little girl,Harshali.I hope we see her in more movies. A must watch for people who haven't liked salman Khan for the past few years and to all the other movie goers too!!

I would ask you to watch this movie because this kind of movie is simply very rare in Bollywood.It is dark,smart and keeps you thinking for the entirety of it. A lot of people including myself found the movie very difficult to keep up with and I was the happiest person during the intermission!Not because the movie is bad rather I was happy because now I could join the dots and understand what really is happening!! Byomkesh is represented by Sushant Singh Rajput with perfection! Byomkesh isn't a fighter,he isn't fond of blood.He is just a normal guy who happens to be very smart and hence is a detective!His reactions to blood and murder are similar to what would happen if one of us sees a body. In the end the movie is kinda explained because come on it's a very complicated movie and we could use all the help we could get to understand it.

All in all, a great movie for people who like to whack their brains when they are sitting in the theater and not just churn popcorn's!!! Its definitely a thinking man's movie!! Great Work Mr.Dibakar Banerjee!!!
