Spooky Buddies (2011)
Cursed object, but lead me to heaven.
Spooky Buddies, quite frankly, is a product of it's time. B Dawg has a...Very questionable accent and we're not even gonna talk about the Franken-dude costume guy. However, it's decently servicable as a children's movie if you don't have access to the Smurf's yet wish for an ounce of Gargamel's greatness.
The wizard guy (Neither me nor my Fiance bothered to remember his name, apologies) was certainly somewhat of a highlight, while he wasn't exactly that funny he had that sense of Gargamellioness that really pushed us through the movie.
Also, the dogs are objectively very cute. They're dogs. It's an easy bar to pass but seeing little animals in halloween costumes certainly healed a dark part of my soul.
Although this movie has led to me finding what is quite possibly the greatest achievement in television so I can't rate it any lower.
Not good. But it certainly is a movie. Although there are much better halloween children's movies.

I made an account just to leave this review.
After watching pure garbage upon cinema (Spooky Buddies), my Fiance and I went to the IMDB page to look for movies that the other actors were in. This led us to 2014's 'Preggoland', and we were very excited to watch it. However, before we could click on the movie fully, we saw DOCTOR CLIMAX. Of course, the funny title took our attention immediately and we knew we had to trial at least one episode.
We assumed this would be pure garbage, simply some stupid overly sexual show that's only joke is "Ha ha! It's sex! Laugh because it is sex!". Instead we got a jaw-droppingly amazing display of cinematography, direction, and aesthetic.
Seriously, it is unbelievable how good the shots in this show look. There is something certainly magical about the way the colours, lighting, and focus are all used to truly immerse you in the /climax/ of this story.
The direction was impeccable, with shot transitions that could send your grandmother into a coma. They had an artistic vision and they went with it.
Beyond all of that, it's genuinely a funny and well written show. I was expecting just brainless trash with great shots, but no. It is far beyond that. It's not only quite mature with it's sexual topics, but also manages to use it's directing to make several jokes that made me and my fiance both genuinely laugh out loud, which is quite a feat.
I never thought I'd say this, but I am now part of the Doctor Climax Fandom. Climaxxies forever.
