The return of one of Netflix's best series isn't too far away.
As previously reported, Heartstopper Season 2 premieres on August 3, 2023.
Unlike The Witcher and You, the second season of the coming-of-age dramedy will drop its entire season on that date.
Netflix shared the first scenes of the season premiere on Saturday at Tudum.
The sneak peek begins with Charlie (Joe Locke) waking up to a sweet good morning message from his new boyfriend, Nick (Kit Connor).
As the scene progresses, we see them send messages back and forth as they prepare for the day ahead before ultimately crossing paths at school.
If the teaser proves anything, their relationship is still flourishing.
Far too often, needless drama is thrown into TV relationships all in the name of creating -- you guessed it -- drama.

Every role I’ve done seems to be something where my dad has to die,” says Amir Wilson, wincing a little. His characters have certainly been through a lot. As plucky would-be knight Tiuri, he didn’t have much to laugh about in Netflix’s fantasy series The Letter for the King, in which his adoptive father dies trying to protect him. Or when he played Simba, scion of a famously soon-to-be-trampled-upon Mufasa, in the West End production of The Lion King. And if his character’s father isn’t dying, he’s absent, as in Sky’s whimsical adaptation of The Secret Garden, in which he played Dickon opposite Colin Firth and Julie Walters.
Then there’s his breakthrough role as Will Parry in His Dark Materials, which we’re here to talk about today. That morbid theme continues in the BBC’s complex take on Philip Pullman’s...

HBO and HBO Max are becoming very unpredictable.
Ever since the Warner Bros. Discovery merger, there have been plenty of controversial decisions from the higher-ups at the company.

HBO Max has split up with Love Life, canceling the romantic anthology after two seasons.

The first season was headlined by Anna Kendrick, while the second had William Jackson Harper at the forefront.

“Heartstopper,” Netflix’s hit teenage romantic drama, has started production on Season 2 in the U.K., with four new cast members joining the series based on Alice Oseman’s best selling graphic novels about the budding love story between the bashful Charlie Spring (Joe Locke) and the earnest Nick Nelson (Kit Connor).
Jack Barton (Netflix’s “The Letter for the King”) has been cast as Nick’s older brother, David — a university student who is less than enthusiastic about Nick and Charlie’s relationship.
British stage actor Nima Taleghani (“Cyrano de Bergerac”) will play Mr. Farouk, one of the teachers at Truham Grammar School, where Nick and Charlie attend with their friends Tao (William Gao) and Isaac (Tobie Donovan).
After a nationwide casting call, newcomer Leila Khan will play Sahar Zahid, a student from the Higgs Girls school, where Nick and Charlie’s friends Elle (Yasmin Finney), Tara (Corinna Brown) and Darcy (Kizzy Edgell) attend.

The Irregulars have solved their last case. Netflix has cancelled the Sherlock Holmes-adjacent drama after one season, Deadline reports.
Set in Victorian London, the short-lived series focused on a gang of troubled street teens who were manipulated into solving crimes for the sinister Dr. John Watson (The Witcher‘s Royce Pierreson) and his mysterious business partner, Sherlock Holmes (played by Killing Eve‘s Henry Lloyd-Hughes). The young ensemble included Thaddea Graham (The Letter for the King) as Bea, McKell David (Black Mirror) as Spike; Jojo Macari (Sex Education) as Billy and Darcy Shaw (The Bay) as Bea’s sister Jessie.
