I am from Norway and I really love this series. First of all they showcase some of the really difficult weather conditions we have here in Norway, and there is not any lack of big crashes and interesting rescues.
At first watch it can look like just a regular show, but when you get to know the characters a bit you will be blessed. I am so impressed with the people in the series, they are so human. In addition the producers has done a really great job showcasing exactly that. When watching, I just want to hug Thord sometimes, he is just a great guy, and treating other people so well.
My only negative opinion on the series (would be a 10/10 if not for this) is how the editor has taken random clips together. For example, if Thord is going on a mission, you can see him drive from his garage in a flatbed truck. On the way up you see drone footage of Thord continuing to the mission in a heavyweight Volvo rescue truck. But when he arrives he is doing the mission with a third truck.. For me it is just too ridiculous..
But apart from this it is still worth watching!

This is a really good show. Not quite sure what it would be like when I first started watching but was immediately hooked! Watching the rescues they did in such bad weather on narrow, icy, winding roads was so interesting. And the amazing views of Norway just made me wish I could go there. Awesome show! Hope they return for season 6 and more.

This is my first review of anything on IMDB. I have nothing to do with this show, nor anyone associated with it. It is on Netflix. The series is about Norwegian heavy truck rescue crews who pull everything out of, and off Norway's treacherous icy and wet roads in sometimes unbelievable weather conditions. The men who work in these often times very treacherous conditions are real and their human side is inspiring.
Can't quit watching, this show is great. My son & I were looking for a different show that he likes when we stumbled upon this one. After the first episode I was hooked, the show is fantastic, the cast are the best of the best at their job. I never thought I would be watching a show like this but here I am, watching every episode.
I love this show. The protagonists are great people and skillful rescuers.I think it's really well made, given the conditions they sometimes have to film in, and I love the little clips of the gorgeous Norwegian nature they include here and there. You can really feel the tension during some rescues.

Whatever rescue happens in this series is already a major disaster or very close to becoming one. In general, there are very few different scenarios happening - they are just repeated ad nauseam.
This series comes across as repetitive to the extreme. If you've seen a single show, you've seen most of what happens in the rest of them. A single season is easily more than enough but at the time of writing there are an unbelievable 8 (eight) of them !?
I can accept that this probably is a cheap way to make something which could technically be referred to as a TV show, but for me, when this is on, I see it as a reason to turn of the TV.

This show is great to watch, the scenery is stunning and the crews are entertaining, love watching the way they have developed and grown over time, with their children growing up and joining the family firm and the way some have teamed up. Would truly love to visit Norway one day but I don't think I would ever dare drive on your icy roads, please keep this show going it's good wholesome entertainment and fact based rather than make believe. It's good honest TV but wow those camera men must have nerves of steel not to mention the rescuers themselves, they must truly love the work they do considering the conditions they are working in. True heroes.
