In the Netflix limited series “Missing You,” Rosalind Eleazar of “Slow Horses” stars as a woman seeking answers about the murder of her father — and her missing fiancée. It’s based on the novel by Harlan Coben, but set in England instead of in New York City.
It’s the ninth Netflix series based on the mystery writer’s novels and several cast members, and some of the cast, Richard Armitage and James Nesbitt, starred in previous series based on his works.
Here’s who plays who in the series, which is now streaming on Netflix, and where you might have seen them before.

Cameron Roach has been named Sky’s director of drama and head of Sky Studios. On Tuesday, the executive taking Anne Mensah’s old post unveiled his first two original commissions: “Little Birds” for Sky Atlantic and “Intergalactic” for Sky One.

“Intergalactic” is an action-packed sci-fi drama, set in the 23rd century. Written by Julie Gearey, it follows a crew of fierce female convicts who break free and go on the run, heading … intergalactic, Sky wrote in a media release.

AMC is in the process of developing a really cool new series called The Terror, and they've just cast Mad Men's Jared Harris in the lead role.
The series will be an adaptation of a novel by Dan Simmons, the story of which is set in 1847. It follows the real life story of a Naval expedition searching for the Northwest Passage and in the process disappears. The series will take a fictional spin on the events that took place as the crews are attacked by a mysterious predator that stalks the ships.
Harris will play a character named Francis Crozier, "Captain of the Hms Terror and second in command of the expedition. He is a brilliant sailor and captain, but an Irishman who has reached his glass ceiling in the British Royal Navy and has become disillusioned with its pomp and politics."
Joel Stillerman, president of original programming and development for AMC and SundanceTV,...

Author Dan Simmons knows how to spark scares and intrigue with his writing. His 1991 novel Summer of Night is essential reading for those who love a good coming-of-age horror tale, and his historical fiction novel The Terror offers an eerie experience of its own. AMC will bring the latter to the screen with their upcoming anthology series, which has just cast Jared Harris in the lead role of Captain Francis Crozier:

Ellen Page and Kate Mara are taking their real-life friendship to new heights, starring beside one another in the upcoming romantic drama Mercy, according to Variety. The Oscar-nominated Juno star will play the daughter of a man on death row who winds up falling in love with a woman (played by House Of Cards’ Mara) on the opposite side of the capital punishment debate.
Page—who, along with Mara, is co-producing Mercy with Killer Films’ Christine Vachon and David Hinojosa—hinted at the project during a Zurich Film Festival press conference last year when she said, “I’m focusing mostly on stories that are meaningful to me and stories for women and supporting more gay characters.” This sure to be life-affirming romp will be directed by Israeli filmmaker Tali Shalom Ezer (Princess), from a screenplay by British TV writer Joe Barton (Humans, Cuffs). “We were so enthralled by Tali’s...

BBC One's Cuffs is a pre-watershed cop show that blends police procedure with the officers' personal lives - sound familiar?
But despite the apparent similarities, the Cuffs cast have insisted that their show is nothing like ITV's long-running The Bill, which wrapped a 26-year run in 2010.
"I mean, let's be honest, everyone's going to try and say it's the new Bill," admitted Ashley Walters, who plays PC Ryan Draper. "But for me, it's a lot more than that. It's very real... the raw emotion is very real."
Both Walters and co-star Shaun Dooley (DC Carl Hawkins) said Cuffs is actually closer in spirit to gritty, fly-on-the-wall documentaries like BBC Two's acclaimed The Detectives.
"It's less about solving the crime, and more about the human beings solving the crime," Dooley said.

BBC One is looking to give the cop show a twist with its new series Cuffs - and star Ashley Walters has said he had something to prove in taking on the part of PC Ryan Draper.
Walters told press including Digital Spy that he was happy to break away from the "bad boy" character type he'd played on Channel 4's Top Boy.
"I'm known for playing a lot of gangster bad boy roles, and [there's] the whole So Solid stigma," he admitted. "But hopefully if I can make people believe that I'm a copper, then I'm doing well at my job, because I can go from one extreme to the other.
"It's good to be doing something really different. On Top Boy, I found myself, every day, on the phone - 'Where are ya? You got the food [drugs]? Where's the money?' - and all my scenes were in Dalston Market.
