Elementary school teacher Ruben Michiels goes missing, three days after Lara Van Gingelom, one of his female pupils, accused him of sexual abuse. During the investigation, the team discovers that Lara lied in order to protect the real offender: her own grandfather. A flashback shows how Michiels found this out as well, right before he disappeared. When the police retrieve Michiels's car on the side of road and notice blood stains, it seems like someone has wrongfully taken law into his own hands. Finger prints found at the scene, lead the team to a man called Sven Meersman, who soon admits he helped his brother to abduct Michiels. Anthony Meersman's daughter was after all kidnapped, abused and killed in the same area a few years ago, without the pedophile ever being found. Talks about Lara's case on social media, convinced Anthony that Ruben Michiels was the man he had been looking for ever since. Sven however decided to drop out of the plan, after his brother started torturing Michiels, who kept claiming to be innocent. With the help of Sven, the team begins a race against time to save Michiels. They eventually retrieve him in a heavily wounded state.—Anonymous
